Claim filing information on the HWW settlement of the class action lawsuit against Electricity Maine, LLC

Hallett Whipple Weyrens filed a class action lawsuit against Electricity Maine, LLC and other defendants in 2016 alleging that they overcharged customers for electricity supply. A settlement in this case was recently approved by the Court. The settlement provides a fund for Electricity Maine customers to make claims for cash compensation. If you were a Electricity Maine customers, there are three ways to make a claim:

     (1) Visit the settlement website at www.veilleuxsettlement.com

     (2) Return the claims form received as part of the Notice Packet sent by the settlement administrator

     (3) Call the settlement administrator at (844)-484-0405

To make a claim, Electricity Maine customers will need their Class Member Unique Identification Code, located at the top of the Email Notice.  The Class Member Unique Identification Code can also be retrieved by clicking on this link and following the instructions:  Retrieve Your Code!

Class Member Identification Codes are also printed on the claims form sent as part of the Notice Packet by United States Postal Service. If you did not receive email notice or cannot find your Class Member Unique Identification Code, please visit the settlement website at www.veilleuxsettlement.com and complete the electronic fillable form. The settlement administrator will contact you within 48 hours with you Identification Code.
