David Weyrens is a trial attorney whose practice is devoted to litigation of both criminal and civil matters. In the civil arena, David has a robust practice in the area of personal injury law - helping those injured, whether caused by a car accident, a boating accident, an assault or some other type of injury - to recover from their predicament. Additionally, David has broad experience in other types of civil matters, from contractual disputes between businesses, medical malpractice and wrongful death claims.

David also represents people accused of crimes in both Federal and State Court.  He has a very active criminal defense practice ranging from misdemeanors to felony charges.  David enjoys helping people more than anything and that is why he chose to focus on criminal defense and injury law as a way to help people when they are down.  

David Weyrens strives to devote himself to each and every client he represents and seeks to be true to the firm's goal of providing relentless and zealous representation to those clients. He relishes the opportunity to get to know his clients and their specific goals, and to then develop a legal strategy aimed at realizing their goals in the most efficient manner possible. Through his advocacy in his civil practice he has obtained multiple settlements and verdicts exceeding $1 million.  Over the course of his career his work has resulted in millions and millions of dollars going directly to his clients.  His success recovering money for his injured clients has been recognized by David becoming a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

David obtained his law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2002. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota, where he earned a B.A. in History, Magna Cum Laude. In addition to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, David is a member of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA) and the Maine Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (MACDL). David has also attained the status of Katahdin Counsel in the State of Maine in recognition of his dedication to providing pro-bono legal representation to those in need.

David is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of Maine and Colorado as well as the United States Supreme Court.
